Me and Tara look towards the cosmos. We see a beautiful blue world emerging from the sea of stars. Harper tells me and Tara that the world we see is that of the world of the present.
The beautiful blue world of the present is getting closer. Harper tells me to focus. I look at the beautiful blue world and focus my thoughts. I begin to see images of places and people in the world of the present.
I continue to focus on the world of the present. Suddenly, I'm feeling this heavy sorrow. Images are appearing in my mind. I see myself in such a degraded state. I continue to see more images. My Grandfather, he's no longer here. Neither is my Grandmother. No, not my dad too. I see myself at his remembrance. This is not real. My dad was with us at the Beer Drinkers club meeting not too long ago. I do not accept this. The world of the present is nothing but a world of lies and deceit.
The sorrow is growing heavier and my mind is hurting. The world of the present, it's not real. It's a lie. My Grandmother, Grandfather, and my dad are all still here. I continue to focus on the world of the present. I see myself. I'm alone. Where is Tara? My heart begins to feel like it's tearing apart. Where is my love, Tara? My mind begins to fill with dark depressing thoughts. I see myself disintegrating. I'm being erased from existence...
I hear Tara calling my name. I lose focus on the world of the present.
"Ricky!" Tara yells. "Wake up."
I awaken on the floor in Harper's house.
"Tara," I cry. "You're still here."
"Of course I am, Ricky," Tara replies. "Where else would I be?"
"Did you see what I saw?" I ask Tara.
"I only saw the blue world getting closer, and then you went unconscious," Tara replies. "Harper brought us back as soon as you lost consciousness."
