Me and Tara Talked About the Reversal of Time

While sipping back on some coffee, me and Tara talked about the reversal of time.

"After our conversation about how things were before the portal, I went to the deck and pondered if I should attempt to reverse time," I told Tara. "I was worried that if I did so, it would come with consequences."

"I was sitting on the couch, and suddenly everything went dark," Tara replied. "I saw myself drifting through space and time, so I assumed you had something to do with it."

"Yup, that was me," I laughed.

Tara laughed. "Strange enough though, shortly after I began to drift through space and time, everything went dark again. The next thing I know, we're standing by the portal."

When Tara said when everything went dark again, it reminded me of how the darkness almost claimed my life, but then the light intervened. I remember the light was angelic and female in form, and it had a voice that sounded like Tara's voice. I explained to Tara everything that happened during the event.

"I was an angel of light?" Tara asked. "I have no recollection of ever seeing you during the entire experience."

"Yeah, I didn't see you either," I replied. "I just saw the angelic female figure, and when she was crying out my name, her voice sounded like yours."

"After I cried out your name, I approached the darkness and began to get brighter and brighter," Tara said to herself. "And then I was fighting with the darkness."

"Yep, that's what happened," I said to Tara. "I really do believe that angelic being of light was you."

Me and Tara were sitting there in silence for a few moments. We were trying to make sense of all of this.

"I don't know how you appeared as an angelic being of light, but I do know that you saved my life, Tara," I said. "You fought the darkness for me because it was too strong for me to deal with, and again, you saved my life."

Tara remained silent. She had tears dripping from her eyes.

I wiped the tears from Tara's face with my hand. "I love you, Tara."

Tara smiled. "I love you too, Ricky."

Me and Tara hugged.

"What do you say?" I asked Tara. "Wanna grab another coffee and head back to my place?"

Tara gently brushed her fingers across my cheek. "Sounds like a plan, Ricky."
